Here are two suggestions from one of my other memberships. There is a guy inWinston-Salem North Carolina that restores and does up grades on antique clocks and radios. He offers services such as converting mechanical clock movements over to quartz movements utilizing and or using the original, new or restored clock face, hands and setting dial. On radios they do and electronic upgrade utilizing the original, new and or restored radio dials, trim faces and knobs. Converted radios also include jacks for an axillary CD player, iPod or MP3 player hook up. The clock conversions run from $100.00 to $150.00 and a radio conversion with a 180 watt four speaker system runs about $400.00. A two speaker system would probably be cheaper too. Below is his contact info.
