Many of you know that I found my Darrin #60 that I bought when I was 15 1/2 years old in Cleveland Ohio. I drag raced it from the time I was 16 till I sold it in 1970. I found the car at Art Griffins some years back. I worked a deal with him to buy it back .He had it for over 30 years. I bought it back in 2007 and took 4 years to restore it back to the way it was when I drag raced it in the 1960's. I brought the car to the National in Sweetwater TN. I was able to take it to the local drag strip for the Tucson Dragway reunion. They let me race the car for an 1/8 mile. There were no timers for the 1/8 mi so I don't no how fast I went but it felt like I was a kid again. The car ran great just like it did when I raced it in the 1960's.
Here is a link to the video we took hope you enjoy it as much as I did racing it. I can say one thing it is the fastest Kaiser Darrin ever. I was probably going over a 100MPH in the 1/8 mi
This car will be fetured in a major car magazine in March.
