well, auction ended and he did not get his desired dollar amount. I am curious if the VIN ends in 046, why does he show the numbers 045 scratched into the frame?

I have questions about the "button seat" myself.  What do the darrin exports think?

The seller's explaination of 45 vs 46 in the answer to my question (scroll down in listing) is hogwash.
First 50 cars did have different seats with X-pattern and buttons.

If you check back issues of KFOCI MONTHLY BULLETIN, you find that at least a couple have come up for sale in various conditions every year for many years.  It used to be that the owners would "vet" perspective buyers in order to make sure the car got a good home.
