I read the latest bulletin, which is always a quality publication from Barbara Mueller, and I saw where Blanche Mericle had passed away. It was a bit sad for me, though she had a long and productive life. When I first purchased a KF car and joined the club in 1998 she immediately embraced me and my wife and made us feel welcome in new territory as I had taken my two KF cars to both the Seaway and Michigan gatherings. She was sharp as they come, spirited, enthusiastic and full of memories and stories needed to pass the KF legacy on to each next generation. We will miss her and her champaign toasts at the closing of the KF National meets. It is my sincere hope that there will be more like her for the future of these magnificent automobiles.
