Gas tank replacement
« on: August 07, 2014, 04:18:43 PM »
can anyone help me in locating a replacement (NOS?) tank, or someone who would build a replacement tank for my Darrin. It is to rusty and perforated to use. Any help on this is greatly appreciated. Thank you. -Glenn Seymour. 315-212-0961/315-265-4240 24 hr.line.

You can use a HJ tank just the filler from your original tank needs to be soldered in it is different then the Darrin. There should be some HJ tanks around.

Glen,  I have the same problem..  wondering what the return on investment for repairing what I have compared to replacing.
Good luck with your restoration!
