53 Willys 4 door parts car
« on: April 02, 2017, 05:10:04 PM »
I have a 53 4 door with 161 F Head 3 speed with overdrive I am going to sell as a parts car . I bought this car some years ago to save it from the crusher and save the running gear . It has a ton of good parts , body and mechanical . It also has lots of rust . I have a good many pictures but can't seem to get them on here so email me if you want them . Asking $1200.00 to a club member . If no one wants it , I will try Craig's list or EBAY in a week or so .

That's a 1953 Aero Falcon. Should have a flathead 161, not an F-head but perhaps it's had an engine swap along the way. If you're gonna strip it out, save all the front suspension and steering parts, driveshaft. Engine, tranny, overdrive and attachments are a good idea. If it's any good, save the hood and the hinge springs. Save both sides of the hood latch, especially the bottom half if it's not broken. I see it's already too late to save the horn ring. If they're good, save switches and speedometer unit, heater core and the control valve.
Well, all that stuff is getting hard to find and they're not making them any more.
