Automodello Kaiser Darrin models
« on: September 06, 2017, 11:27:22 AM »
This company is having a 25% off sale this week.  If anyone is waiting for a better price now is the time.  I just bought a yellow one.

Since the MSRP is around $300, even at 25% off that makes a pretty expensive model. I do like the detail of them. Thanks for the info, Steve

the Automodello Darrin came in the mail today and I have to admit that it is beautiful and the best model of any kind that I have ever seen.  It comes with two removable drivers doors so that you can display it with the door open or closed and a separate half top as well as the full convertible top.  The details are so fine that it even has a horn ring, all of the pedals on the floor and  a windshield with tinting on the top. It has headlight lamps that look like glass, an inside rear view mirror. tail pipe and chrome plating that is excellent.  They are expensive but if you have a Darrin it would be fun to display with your car.  They come in all of the original colors of the Darrin's and come attached to a display box so that they can be transported with no damage.  Included is an envelope full of authentication and a statement that mine is a "Tribute Edition" and one of only 54 made in yellow.
It is eight inches long.  The rest of my Darrin toys can't compare!
