The Willys Story (document available)
« on: March 07, 2018, 10:39:23 AM »
If you're not familiar with ewillys.com, it's a well run website that a lot of us old Willys/Jeep enthusiasts check out from time to time.  The website owner was sent this cool Willys document to share, available for download:
http://www.ewillys.com/2018/03/02/download-the-willys-story/

It has been noted by some that the production numbers listed likely lean more towards approximate than exact.  There are some Kaiser and Frazer cars shown also.

I just downloaded the file mentioned in the link.  It appears to be a spiral bound book which is a collection of photos that Willys Motors began putting together showing a photo of a model and a bit of general history on production, etc.  THE ENTIRE FILE IS 374 MB LONG and may be beyond the ability of some older computers to handle.  It contains some K-F pictures (same layout as the Willys items).

Great stuff, Thanks for sharing!

One of the advertisers, Peter DeBella, listed on ewillys home page has some NOS Aero parts acquired over the years as he bought up Jeep inventory. I've looked high & low for a correct NOS Auto-Lite voltage regulator with no luck until I recently asked him. I was going to touch up a couple of rusted nicks in the paint until I put my glasses on and saw that it's actually all brass, cover, base & screws. He also has another site with some NOS parts, yesteryearparts.com

Lots of interesting items on that website. Too bad the pictures are small...the Nash clock looks very much the same as those used on the 54-55 Kaisers and 55 Willys cars. A bigger picture could confirm.

I have printed it up and it will be a part of the Willys display in Kingsport.
