Everett Falconer

Every now and then a club member does something to distinguish themselves from the others. In this case, I'm talking about Everett Falconer. He owned several Kaisers, one of which I purchased from him several years ago - a 1953 Manhattan. What made him a standout in the crowd was that Everett routinely drove his favorite Kaiser to national meets...not particularly noteworthy until you realize that he drove it to just about every national meet, as well as many regional and division gatherings as well, for the last 20+ years. His mode of transportation was a dark grey 1954 Early Special that he and his bride Louella would fill with the necessities of cross country travel and off they'd go, often driving back roads to see the scenery.

I mention this because the club lost Everett on September 10. Everett and I were friends and if anyone met him, you were instant friends as well.

The club was better for having him. He will be missed.
