Kaiser Frazer Henry J bronze plate
« on: October 03, 2020, 01:25:13 PM »
I recently purchased this from the estate of a longtime friend. Does anyone know what it came off of? It measures 1-3/8" X 2-1/4" and is a heavy brass/bronze material. Perhaps something from a dealer item?
Thanks
Bob

Yes I do recognize this item.  I have the same item.  It was originally attached to a marble pen set they put out to the Dealers.  It was called the champion dealership award.  I'll try to post a picture sometime.  I am having trouble getting pictures to post on this Forum.

Dragon, you are exactly correct.  I looked at a couple of desk sets and the design is the same but bright brass color.  There were at least three different desk sets with one or two pens and pencils and the plaque was glued to the marble base and sometime would detach itself.  There was more than one plaque design but all are a similar size.  The desk sets were called "Your Champion Dealership Award" and they were awarded to dealers who achieved certain goals and were awarded bi-monthly beginning in late 1951.
