Front coil springs
«

I did a search and couldn't find what I'm looking for. What is the height and diameter of the stock coil spring ? My springs have rubber spacers installed and I wouldn't mind putting in a taller front spring to get the same height without the spacers.
I couldn't find any on line either to get a measurement off of. Thanks for the help.

I have a set of stock front springs, the J they came out of was a '51 deluxe with 38,000 miles, they measured 13 1/2" high 4 3/4" diameter.

Thanks, surprised that it says installed height is 8 1/4 inches in the manual. Now to find some springs that measure up.

I bought the springs from Don and once here I placed them next to my old mustang ll springs I recently replaced in my 41 chev p/u. To my surprise they were the same diameter so anyone else needing to replace their front springs that would be an option.
Most of the main aftermarket companys like Heidts, Eaton and even Speedway offer spring height and weight charts on their websites for refference.
