Former Bulletin Editor's 53 Kaiser
« on: January 18, 2015, 07:31:38 PM »
For many years, the late Harold Wells was our club's bulletin editor. He was a supply sergeant in the Army and as such, learned to make do with what he had. So, it's no surprise that his car reflected that ideal. While it was definitely not stock, he did take great pride in the car. He lived in Ohio so I'm not sure how his car made its way west.

The last time I saw Harold, he and Neva were traveling in their relatively new Dodge Daytona Z through Atlanta. They stayed in town long enough for Bill Tilden and I to have dinner with them. That was maybe 1993 - 1995. Funny, I remember the Kaiser as a 1951 (and it looks like it) and it was dark red, not blue and white.
