53 Manhatten at the Raleigh Classic Auction
« on: May 05, 2015, 09:03:41 AM »
Here is something you don't see everyday, an original 1953 Kaiser Manhatten at an auction.   The description said "As remarkable as it sounds, the vehicle still has it original tires filled with 1953 air"!!!   Does this jewel belong to a club member?   It must have been stored for quite some time.   The auction is stated as June 19-20, 2015.   It will be interesting to see what it brings.    I hope you can see and read the description on the pictures included.

Probably my favorite color combination on the '53 Manhattan - Sabre Jet blue over Australian beige. Looks nice.

That IS a beautiful color combo!

Which reminds me, when I get to the point of painting my 54, are color codes still available to match?

Check the KFOCI HANDBOOK section on paint in general.  PPG offers most K-F colors in current mix formulas.  Details are all there on the ordering process.  Write them direct and they may not respond at all.
