It has a "flat heed" six in it.  I see it has the old style overdrive relay on the firewall which weren't used on the '51 Kaisers (they were used on the '51 Frazers which were leftover '49s) but probably works just fine. It sure shines up.

How the heck do they get those modern wheels on an old car - especially the big ones ?

I wondered about that too Roadmaster.  Especially since the original wheels have bolts as opposed to nuts / studs. On Edgar's HJ, they ran studs through the bolt holes in order to install the Keystone wheels on it. It was luck that  the "guide pin" on the drums just happened to fit right behind one of the spokes so it did not need to be removed.

This car has an 8 volt battery in it which probably indicates that it has starting problems.  A nice looking car though!  Maybe he still has the original wheels and covers.
