Oil pan gasket for a 161 6cly engine
« on: April 17, 2017, 08:49:03 PM »
I need an oil pan gasket for my 1951 Henry J with a 161 6cly. engine. If anyone has a part number that I can order or cross over it would be helpful. Thank you.

Been sourcing parts for a f-161 rebuild and Egge https://egge.com/ lists every  gasket for my engine and said they would sell individually when I asked for just the ones needed for a post rebuild run-in & re-torque and valve lash re-adjustment. Haven't actually tried to order individual gaskets yet though.

I suppose Big Dave could drive the 10 minutes and walk in to the counter to ask for that info for you, but I'll share instructions on a more efficient way to gather the arcane info you demand others gather for you. The link you need is posted above but here it is again to make it easier for you to find: https://egge.com/

Click on that link, dial that phone number right at the top of the page......... in case you can't see it : 800-866-3443................ and ask them. They've got them, all you have to do is call & ask.

Helpful enough?
