51 Henry headlights

Hi working on my Henry headlights, and the buckets and adjusters were all apart when i got it does anyone have any pictures of how the springs and adjusters go? :P

Don't think the parts or shop manual details the assembly of the head lamp units.  The two adjusters should be disassembled and re-tapped, 10-32, I think.  The spring goes around the circumference, as I recall.  It's a real Gold Goldberg.  If you wish I can take photos of the assembly when I return home in a month and post on this forum.

Here's the page from the parts manual. See if this helps.  I too recommend getting a copy, they are very helpful.

I'm replacing the harnesses in a pair of Aero buckets & took some photos that might help. Different buckets but the principle is similar for many cars. Basically a bowl inside another bowl, held together with a spring on one side and two adjuster screws opposite the spring.  One screw for left & right & the other for up & down.

Hey, that's easy.  The HJ has a three inch spring that goes horizontal.  Really weird.  And a real pain to reassemble.   :(
