No Brakes
« on: August 30, 2010, 10:37:04 PM »
I am trying to find out how to adjust the brakes on a 51 Kaiser.
It has new pads, but no brakes at the moment.

Is your master cylinder resivor full, and did you bleed the master cylinder before hooking up the line to the wheels?  I had an air embolism and my problem was I forgot to bleed the master cylinder in my excitment to get my Kaiser rolling again.  Just something to check.  If the master cylinder has been sitting empty put a block of wood under the pedal, you don't want to bottom out the pedal if you have any crud in there it will cut the o-ring and then you will have to do a rebuild.
