HELP - Exhaust Manifold
« on: June 12, 2008, 07:52:37 PM »
Put new exhaust valves in my 1952 B Kaiser Manhatten but the exhaust manifold was cracked!  Does anyone know where I can get one?

Thanks in advance,

John

They are hard to come by.  I had mine welded up by a master craftsman cast iron welder guy.  It looks real good, but I haven't started the engine yet off a total re-build.  I don't know if it worked or not, but if you go that route, make sure they know what they are doing.  It can be done, but carefully by someone who knows what they are doing.  I ordered one from one of the venders in the bulletin but it arrived broken.  ( he made good on it though.)  Good luck.

It's hard to find one that hasn't already been brazed or welded. Having it repaired may be the best course of action. If you go that route, by all means let us know how it worked for you.

Hi, I have two exhaust manifolds for KF One is new. Tell me how to identify if the ones I have are correct and how much you think they are worth. Don
