Henry J exhaust question
« on: May 11, 2012, 10:22:34 AM »
I'm restoring a '51 Henry j and am looking for a complete exhaust system to match the original. The muffler shops can not reproduce one to my standards ( wrong tubing diameter, wrong bents) Has anyone found someone or a shop that can do it correct?
Thanks for the help.

The thing that makes it a bit of a challenge is the exhaust header pipe is 1 5/8" diameter and most shops only have 1 1/2" these days. Kanter auto lists a full exhaust system for a Henry J in their online parts catalog.

The four cylinder model uses a different front pipe than the six cylinder so be sure to specify.
