Have a '51 Frazer - looking for an interior...
« on: June 26, 2013, 05:02:40 PM »
Hello all,

I've acquired this '51 Frazer from Ken Taplin here in Maine and it needs a full interior. I thought I'd begin looking for an interior for the ole car. Anyone have any spare interiors?  :-)

I am open to any color scheme and anything with good hardware. I assume I will go to an upholsterer to do restoration on the seating but for now, what I have are merely frames for both front and back seats. I am also open to possible non-stock parts and seating.  When I get a chance, I will take a few photos of the existing interior to give you all an idea of what I have to work with.

SMS Upholstery in Washington state can make the correct fabric for K-F products if you give them the trim number off the firewall tag and the trim name.  Most of the standard (F515) 4-door sedans used Bedford Cloth in different colors; Frazer Vagabond hatchbacks used either vinyl or leather & Vinyl trim.  Frazer Manhattans normally used cloth or leather.  You did not specify your vehicle type.  Posting the numbers and headers off the firewall body tag and the serial number (with the "F" prefix) from the door post tag would be helpful.

Thanks for the info. Now I better know what to look for, I will check it out once I am back in the country.
