'47 Frazer Manhattan

I always liked this color on the early Frazers -

I don't think it will fetch the "Buy It Now" price - you never know though.
I think it's a bit strange that if you offer a car for that price that someone would only list one picture?
Pretty car.

There are 26 pictures with zoom in capability. Very nice car.  It has an aftermarket Firestone radio. First time
I've seen a Firestone radio.

I was not aware of that feature to show the other pics - thanks for pointing that out. It's a nice car.  I had a '48 Frazer that had an under-dash Firestone radio, this style: (see attached)

Mine was a standard, not a Manhattan. Wow, big difference.

Firestone must not have been popular around my area back then. I have seen this style of radio in cars and at swap meets over the years but they were Motorola radios. Much nicer interior in the Manhattan than the standard Frazer.

I've repaired many of those Firestone B-xxx car radios. Pretty cool radio but not as good as the factory issue ones. The reason being the Firestone has a little 4" speaker and no footswitch feature as the KF issue ones did in '47 and '48. Other than that they were almost the same. In 1949/50 the KF radios went to a class 'B' or push-pull output which was much better than the Firestone.
