1949 Rocker Panel Clips
« on: June 22, 2014, 09:39:46 PM »
When I got my Kaiser the trim that runs under the doors along the rocker was off as well as the clips so I have no idea what they look like. In the picture below you will see two clips on the front fender. I have about 9 such clips in a box.

On the rocker itself there are two holes. The 9 clips I have will fit in one hole but it is too narrow to cover both holes.

Does anyone have a picture of the correct clip?  I'm going to look at the parts store tomorrow to see what I can find.

Joe, if I'm not mistaken, these are all detailed in the Parts List.  You should have one, but if not, I think Jim Betts scanned it.  Mike

Where would I find the parts list?  Is it on the CD I got when I joined?  I have a shop manual but did not check it.

The ones on eBay go along the bottom of the door not the rocker panel if I am reading the drawing correctly in the parts list.

The parts lists shows 2 different style of clips (looking on page 5 on the link provided) I have the ones without the stud but not the ones with the stud.

I am trying to get some modeling back onto a 1953 Willys Aero Lark ... any chance these clips will work for that??

Here is a picture of the ones that go in the door. They are slightly different from the ones on eBay. They measure 2 1/8"
