Hi everyone,
I am doing a frame off restoration on my 49 Kaiser Deluxe. It is "Executive Green" metallic with "Executive Green Pinstripe" material for the interior. My question is........What is the correct steering wheel for this car. Keep in mind, it is a Deluxe and the '49 parts manual shows the Starlight Pearl steering wheel for the 492 models, but mine came with the plain rubber wheel painted champagne in color. I am fairly certain that the steering wheel wasn't replaced being that the car has always been in my family. Does anyone have a K492 with the similar steering wheel, or do all of the Kaiser Deluxes out there have the Starlight Pearl wheel? Thanks for all help in advanced.
