Not sure how Carleton figures that Gray is Adirondack but OK

I understand. What I was wondering was how Carleton Spencer figured Adirondack had a grey color assigned to it. I always thought of Adirondacks as reflecting fall colors.  When I think of grey, I might think of Polar Grey or Gull Grey or such.
