Monthly News Bulletin of the Kaiser Frazer Owners Club International is a multi-year winner of the Golden Quill Award for excellence in car club publishing, and for good reason. It serves a fine purpose in running feature articles and conveying news about regions and thus serves the function of enhancing the planning, ideas and schedules of all. Barbara Mueller is the editor.
For example, the Heart of America Region is partnering with the 2015 Orphan Car Show in Branson, MO, Sept 11 and 12. The Sunshine Region holds its Snowbird meet in Vero Beach, FL, March 20-21. More regional updates also appear.
As for features, in a recent issue, club historian Jack Mueller wrote about the Earl J. Nance K-F dealership in Elyria, Ohio, "a good honest dealer" who stuck wit the company even in decline. He went to Studebacker-Packard upon the recommendation of KF officials. However, that was like jumping into yet another frying pan of corporate woes as S-P declined. The article shows pictures of the dealership's changes, including an eventual switch to Buick.
