Did I not read at one time the movie industry made a Batmobile using a Henry J or was I just dreaming

The one used on the 60's TV show was made from a Ford show car, which was called the Mystere, I think.  George Barris did the modifications on it.  In some early Batman movies, they used various normal Fords or Mercurys if I remember correctly.

The original Batmobile (from the 1966 TV show) started life as the Lincoln Futura, built in Turin, Italy for the Ford/Lincoln show circuit. Barris bought the car in 1965 for $1 from Ford and turned it into the Batmobile in short order. There have been several replicas built, most on later Lincoln Chassis.
