Visor?
« on: June 28, 2015, 05:34:01 PM »
Would anyone know of if there are any visors available for my 53 Traveler Deluxe??    I like the looks of the car with one mounted.

Normally I'm not a fan of visors, but they do look good on the 2nd generation Kaiser body. On the downside.....they do hid the top windshield opening lines which IMHO adds much interest to the cars appearance.

I have a complete visor assembly...I'll post pictures later today. The 52-55 unit does differ from the earlier units in how it mounts at the center. This makes them difficult to find. I cannot recall seeing one on eBay lately.

Here are a few pix of a complete 52-55 sun visor. The white brackets attach with screws to the roof of the car. The flat bracket gives you some adjustment for height.

I'll sell it if interested. I can't bring myself to drill holes in the roof of my car!
