Power steering setup
« on: July 11, 2015, 09:12:53 PM »
Hey guys,

Looking for a 53 power steering setup to modify to fit my 51. Or if anyone has a better idea/way to add power steering to my 51.

Thanks in advance

If you can't find a K-F setup, maybe one of these electric power steering kits?

Has anyone on here got any experience of this "Unisteer" electric power steering, whether on a Kaiser or on any other car?

Any 1950's car using the Monroe (as in the shock absorber people) steering system will fit on the Kaisers 1953-55 but I'm not sure about earlier model years.  When I lived in WI and went to junk yards with Dale Hammon he would look through late 1950's AMC cars for PS and if so equipped removed it because it was a ready fit.  Dale is in the KFOCI & has an email address.
