'51 Frazer Hardtop power windows

Until I can get the electrovacuum motor rebuilt, is there a way to get the windows down in the car?   The motor is shorted out and not functional.

You should be able to attach a hand vacuum pump to the system and pull them down using it. That worked for me on an old Lincoln that I had with the same problem.
