Darrin front end...parts
« on: October 19, 2016, 06:52:15 PM »
Stupid question, just need confirmation...the Darrin front end suspension parts are they full size Kaiser or Henry J?
Those of you who have replaced the front end components, did you get a kit (like those through Kanter) or recommend picking up Nos pieces? Looking to stock the shelves over the cold season...not saying W----r!!!!
I look forward to your thoughts!

The front suspension parts are Henry J and the brakes are full size Kaiser.  I got a kit from Kanter and was satisfied with it, BUT, that was 25 years ago.  It had mostly NOS Kaiser parts combined with new rubber components.  I don't know what they may currently supply.  Others may have more current vendor information.

Kanter will probably have most everything you're looking for but it will come at a price. You have the chilly season (notice I didn't it either) ahead of you, troll ebay and put an ad in the club bulletin. I'm sure you'll find most everything you're after.
