Aero transmission - what is stock?

I haven't been able to find the info anywhere yet. What manual transmission did the Aeros come with? Is it a T90, the same as the Jeeps of that era?

As I recall my 55 has a T86 with R10 overdrive.

If your Aero has the 161 engine the standard transmission will be a T96 unit, the same as was used in the Henry J.
If your Aero has the 226 engine, then the standard transmission will be the T86 unit.
