Need upper suspension inner shaft grease seals
« on: October 20, 2016, 01:58:36 PM »
Does anyone know where to buy these grease seals without having to purchase the shaft, bushings and grease fittings as well?  It seems that this suspension system/parts would be common to a number of cars.  Thanks for any help you can provide.  Also have a broken coil spring on the passenger's side.  Were these coil springs really a different stiffness for each side and how important would it be to keep that design?

Looking at the parts book, I don't see a separate part number for a seal. KF tended to use many of the same parts as MOPAR so there may be some cross over.

Originally, the driver side coil spring was heavier to compensate for the driver and battery. If you used one of those springs on the passenger side you'd just end up with a stiffer ride, although I doubt you'd notice it.

If you do locate NOS springs, the driver side will be noted with a white dab of paint on one end.
