Do you have a drummer in the family? The two outside wing/thumb bolts look very much like hardware from drum stands, pedals, or mounted hardware:-) I have a ton of them;-) ...although they are used on lots of applications.

The 'R' letter in the middle, which I'm guessing is what you are asking about, is for a '47 Kaiser  or '47 Frazer.
