I have opened the cover on the gearbox to inspect the gears. no rust was detected and all gears still looking great.
I also serviced the engine. i removed the oil pan to inspect and clean the oil that sludge up in the years. The original lock wires on the mainbearing cap bolts is still attached.So that gives the reason that the engine is still original inside and wasn't repaired. All seemed to be fine
