1953 Aero Ace near St. Louis
« on: June 20, 2018, 12:46:39 PM »
Proven Sales and Service has a pretty solid looking 1953 Willys Aero Ace (with F head 6) listed on Craigslist.  This Ace even has a descent looking front floor mat and upholstery that looks original.  This car needs a lot of TLC, but does appears to be all there.  It even has the gold W on the trunk.  I do wonder why the pedals are flat on the floor and apparently disconnected.  Although the car is not listed in the company website inventory, I have included the company website below for folks who may be interested in contacting the seller.  Asking price is $5000.

Someone will like this car.  The paint looks original and could possibly be rubbed out.  Those are new seat covers but the car is clean throughout and has an original radio.

That's a nice complete car. I keep looking at what I think is a clock, not often seen. It appears to have the "set" knob in the center rather than the bottom, bezel is solid chrome too.

Was there an "early" and later style clock?

Yes it's a neat car and will not last long at that low price.   Willys fans should jump on this car, get it before it is no longer available.  Great time capsule of an Aero Ace.
No old cars owned.
