I picked a '48 Kaiser Special up about a year and half ago. The car's a bit out of my normal wheelhouse as I'm usually dragging older Volkswagen's home to work on. I have no plan on restoring the '48, but based on it's rusty look (patina), I more plan on getting it going with another power-plant and drivetrain. The decision mostly based on time, cost, and parts-availability issues. Needless to say, I'm selling the complete engine, the transmission, the drive shafts (not the rear axle yet), column shifter with linkage, and maybe a few other odds and ends to fund my vision. I'm in the Harrisburg, PA area. Make a reasonable offer if interested. The stuff is heavy, so shipping is a non-option unless you really feel like paying big bucks! I'm not interested in giving it away if you know what I mean. It's looks pretty nice in the corner of my garage and makes a great conversation piece! I'll post pictures soon.
