Fuel Tank for a 1949 Kaiser
« on: September 27, 2019, 04:48:28 PM »
Just got my Kaiser back from the shop after rebuilding the motor.  My fuel tank is in rough shape and the pick up tube is clogged/rusted solid.   Looking for a replacement tank.  I know there is talk about manufacturing tanks in 2020 but I need one now so that I can drive.  Does anyone have one, know of a decent replacement one that will fit or have any suggestions?  Thinking of having a stainless one built to fit under it if I can't find anything else.

Contact Adam Harder, KFOCI MANUFACTURING FUND.  Why go from one bad one to another tank which could give up the ghost in a matter of months or a year or two?  Take it from someone who's been around these things for over 40 years.

They are not planning on producing 49 tanks until some time in 2020. I can’t wsit that long. I’m having a machine shop reproduce one made out of 16 gage stainless.
