traffic light prisms
« on: June 15, 2020, 09:24:20 AM »
My '54 KM has a windshield visor that makes seeing traffic lights difficult.  Any recommendations as to which type of prism would be best--the suction cup type for the upper windshield, or the magnetic kind for the bottom of the windshield.

That K-F accessory was made by General Motors and was available for all GM cars so look for a unit from one of those cars also.

You'll want to place the prism as close to the bottom of the windshield as possible...otherwise you will only see the underside of the visor! Suction cup or magnet? If it is a metal dash either will work...it's your preference. I would go with the magnet...they don't dry out and fall off the surface as a rubber suction cup will.
