My car was fitted many years ago with a machine oiler unit. It's all brass with a glass cyl., it shined up real nice.

I found a remote from a Porsche on eBay about $10. A clutch reservoir off a modern car would work as well.

I bought one from Wilwood & made a sheetmetal bracket to mount on the fender well. Not vintage, not in the factory location but I can check the level at a glance, and it's easy to reach//fill.

How did you bond the nipple to the cylinder cap?
same for plug vent hole?

I drilled the cap and put in a hose barb. Sealed the vent with jb weld.

Filled the top of the cap with lead, drilled & tapped for a hose barb, then drilled & tapped the vent just enough for a plug to tighten up in the lead.

that's what i had intended, but did not know if JB Weld is ok with brake fluid

Don't think that you need a dual reservoir, and the single is much cheaper.

There was (is?) a US company that reproduced a period correct looking metal cannister reservoir with a screw top, included was a mounting bracket, master cylinder cap with hose barb, and I think the hose. It was a nice kit & looked very similar to a single cannister Austin Healey Girling reservoir, which are easy to find. I can't remember the name or find it in a quick search. It was a nice set-up but I wanted something translucent so I could view the level at a glance.

Wagner sold a tapped cap to fit our M.C., but good luck finding one.
