Many thanks Fid!
Mine is fine at the moment, but I'm looking to acquire what parts I can for the future given my beastie is 70 years old and likely anything is subject to fail at a moment's notice.
Within those parameters, I also do not want to lay out funds for parts that won't work on my car...so again my thanks for your knowledge and input. It's a shame that many ebay sellers play fast and loose with their compatibility charts, though I'm sure it helps them sell more parts, regardless if they are correct for the car ordered for. Nevertheless, I shall continue to seek parts, compare with what I know and what limited interchange lists I have, and when uncertain, ask for a friendly answer here to my queries, as you have so kindly provided.
Hopefully one day I can return the favor for new members that come on board.
