CIRCLEKF Swap Meet
« on: December 02, 2021, 07:29:25 PM »
The CircleKF Swap Meet is open and looking for Vendors.  I would like to start the debate on the default values of the various TYPES of KFW Documents.  The attached pdf document shows the values initially assigned to each type of KFW document. It should also be noted that within every TYPE a few documents are worth more or less than the default value assigned to the type, the ability is there to assign a specific value to that document.

If you believe some TYPES are worth more or less ... lets discuss it.

I think I missed the background and underlying objective.. Intent is to make original documents and photos available for purchase?

Market prices for things Kaiser-Frazer or Willys are, of course, based on supply and demand.  Trying to put a fixed price on various items will not work in the long run as the section of LAST ONSLAUGHT ON DETROIT giving a list of K-F literature and prices back in 1975.

A lot of asking prices on eBay are based on the old concept of "they are so rare the prices on their stuff should be very high".  The fact that the same sellers offer the same items keep offering their goods over and over again should tell you what the buyers think of the prices.  I would not recommend going into the idea of even suggesting what a piece of literature should be worth.

But that's just one person's opinion if I understand what you're trying to do here Jim.

The idea is to provide a place for folks to Swap or Sell their extra KFW Literature.  The hard point for me has been how to establish fair value of literature considering rarity and condition.
