#225: a little update

Hi again! I've finally moved out to southern CA and I'm in contact with the current owner of Darrin #225 (last owned by Tom Null). Got to look the car over a few days ago and admittedly fell in love...

Right now Ray, the owner, is looking for three sockets and one pin for attaching the rear of the top, plus a latch pin for the driver's door; are these off-the-shelf or is someone here reproducing them? Once these repairs are finished it will be listed on BaT and I'll post the link as I promised a while back. Thanks for your help!

I do not have Tom Null as the owner of Darrin # 225 in the Kaiser Darrin Registry.  Would you have Ray contact me to clear this up?   I would suggest calling Lee Abrahams (leeabrahams@cox.net) for the parts you need.

Here's what Lee said about the car:

It was Champagne white Paint code 153 Red vinyl top and interior Trim code 7202.
According to the records I have It was owned by Fred Hermesch of Arizona and
his son Steve inherited it and he  sold it to Joe Marchione from
Philadelphia in the late 80's and then it was sold to Tom Null in the 90's;
my records are anything but complete.  I do not have all the records from
every year.

I'll check with him about the fasteners. Thanks!
