Brake adjusters

Can the adjusters be replaced? 1953 HJ Corsair Deluxe
I have one that is in pretty bad shape. I am thinking about building up the rear side square drive with weld, but replacement would be easier??
Does anyone have a spare backing plate that they would be willing to sell?

I've never replaced one myself but a lot of vehicles used this type.  This may be the one you need here.  Look carefully at the pics and see if it looks the same:
