I guess you have to be nuts about 51 Frazers like me to consider the purchase of this one. The car you have pictured looks like the same car from the back, that I received a photo of that was in a junkyard somewhere in Minnesota. This was about 40 years ago, after I had put an ad in the club bulletin trying to find a 51 Frazer for sale. Car looks rough, I don't know if you bought it or not but 3200 is a little steep. I would go no higher than 1500 myself. Body not bad, and if it runs a good coat of paint could make it look pretty good even with all the trim items missing. If your mind is set to find a 51 Frazer, keep plugging away. It took me three years back in the mid to late 70s to finally get a good one. In my searching, I actually found a convertible that I could have had for 1100 dollars. It was complete, but needed new top and restoration. I was only 18 years old then, did not have enough money to buy it and was told I was nuts by anyone who I tried to borrow from to get it Lost out on that one and I believe the car was restored and now sits in the Brooks Stevens Auto Museum somewhere in Wisconsin. Probably worked out for the best. This just made me more determined to get one, and I finally did some three years later a California car a Cardinal Red Sedan not perfect, but nice which I still have now.
Good Luck, Frazer Frank
