Hood Ornaments for Sale
« on: December 06, 2008, 12:34:21 AM »
I've decided to thin out my collection of hood ornaments.  Most are show quality.  Prices for most start at $350 although I do have a few for less.  Again, these are show quality and not simply driver material.  I have Kaiser, Frazer, & Henry J starting with 49/50 Frazer (no 49/50 K).  If you are interested, e-mail me at mbfleming@aol.com for price and an honest description.  Just like everything else I sell, "satisfaction guaranteed."  Thanks, Mike Fleming (Tarheel Kaiser Frazer)

Mike, do you have any extra plastic for the '49 Kaiser ornament?  Thanks,  Gordie

Gordy, sorry, no.  I don't have any of the pieces for the 49/50 Kaiser hood ornament.  Thanks for checking with me.  I do see them on e-bay from time to time but haven't bid on them.  Regards, Mike

Don Pribble was making the plastic sails for the 49 ornaments.   He's listed in the directory.

Hi Dave,  I had heard that someone had made them but did not know who.  I will contact Don.  Thanks very much for the tip!

I contacted Don Pribble and he is having some health issues that have prevented him from continuing with the project.  Perhaps later.  He said that he made up about ten sets, advertised in the bulletin once and they all sold.  The plastic should not be too difficult to reproduce if you had samples to copy.  I hope someone will decide to try it.
