Willys @ car show
« on: September 25, 2011, 08:04:19 PM »
Had the 55 Willys out at a nighttime car show a week ago in Ridgewood NJ.  Always a good turnout, snapped a photo in front of the movie theater.

That's an early 1955 with that second (top) side molding on the quarter panels. Later models removed the upper molding. The factory was using up the left over bodies with the holes pre-punched for the 1954 and earlier side moldings. It also has 1954 hubcaps. Pretty car. I'll be passing through Ridgewood area on Friday, wish I had time to stop and and chat about Willys.

You should see the color scheme on a 2-door 1955 Custom Sedan!  There is at least one still out and about
