I want to paint my Fram oil filter canister before I install new decals I have. What is a close match to Fram Orange?

Fram's 1955 Installation Guide shows the PB-1/2 canister oil filter as all ornage with the decal on the top.  I also still have a couple that are the same way.  They were part of the Fram Oil Filter section in the Parts Department area of the Cave City Auto Service K-F dealer display I had set up when Barbara and I lived in KY.

My Fram 1953 catalog shows the canister style filter as having an orange body with a black top. There are three decals on it in the illustration, a large one on the body, a smaller 'inlet' decal near the inlet fitting and a smaller one on the cap. As was stated, the PB1/2 is all orange.

Thanks for all the good info, are there any pictures on line that show where the decals should go?

So the bracket that surrounds it is black like the top?
