'49 Kaiser Traveler For Sale
« on: February 21, 2009, 12:45:41 PM »
If anyone is interested, there is a '49 Traveler for sale at Country Classics in Staunton, IL (north of St. Louis).  Looks very original.  They're asking $2850.    http://www.countryclassiccars.com/spcars_31.htm

I wonder how long that's been for sale? I first noticed that back in May of last year. I think they were asking $4k back then.

I saw it over a year ago. It was very rough and rusty. In my opinion it is a parts car at best.

I've seen it listed on collector car trader online http://www.autotraderclassics.com/details?adId=87427106  for over 5 years now. There's probably a reason why it hasn't sold.  I like that in the description it says "All original..."  Originally, 1949 Travelers did not have 1953 Kaiser headlight trim on them and originally they had a license plate light holder on the rear deck not the rear bumper.
