53 Manhattan Generator Field
« on: January 12, 2013, 04:08:54 PM »
Hi All

I gooned already by posting this on the Frazer Fourm.  I am trying to determine which post is the field and which one is the arm on my generator.  The manual shows the post in a row however mine are side by side with a large screw forward that I am assuming is the ground.  There is a V stamped to one post and no manufacture or part number to be found.  Sure would hate to get them backwards.

Many Thanks

Mark

The V that is stamped into the housing is actually a poorly stamped A which is the armature connection.
