A list of General Letters and regular letters to the dealers and distributors from K-F would be nice to have and also you once started a list of known magazine advertisements.  There are now over 100 additions and corrections to that list and it would be great to get an up-grade for it.  Thanks for all you are doing for the Club!

Gordie - If you have a bunch of general letters Scan them and email them to me for posting or sent them up and I will do it.

Mag Ads ... lets do a year at a time.  Send me your changes.  Let me update them.  Then you can check them out before we move to the next year.

If you look at the ad details there is a new section for models shown.  If you could determine that information on each ad that would be great.  That will allow us to bring up ads showing specific models which would be a very cool feature.

What do you mean by "General Letters"?  There were Confidential Bulletins to dealers with ordering information and related, Parts & Accessories Bulletins that covered options and certain categories of service parts, Trade Letters which were the Willys or Kaiser-Willys versions of the Confidential Bulletins and general correspondence.  Is that what you're referring to?

From day one many information type letters were sent from Graham Paige Motors and Kaiser Frazer Sales Corporation to dealers, distributors or both regarding a variety of topics.  These are all printed on white paper and are dated.  Most but not all are identified by having a "Subject".   About the beginning of 1950 some of the letters have "GENERAL LETTER" and the number written under the date and all of the letters that I have are written to "ALL DEALERS:  Since these are all numbered and cover many subjects it would be nice to try to get a list of all of them as they are part of K-F's' and the cars' history.  Over the years I have purchased some large K-F collections and I am trying to combine one each of everything collected into a useful library.  I still have a few  boxes to sort out. Ray Tomb's extensive list is the largest that I have seen but there are many items that were not known to Ray when he completed his last update in the 1980's.

There are no less than 4 different series of Kaiser-Frazer Sales Corporation Confidential Bulletins and correspondence to dealers.  There is distributor only, direct dealer only and "all dealers" only plus combination (to all dealers and distributors, all dealers that combine direct with the two-steppers).  "all dealers" went out to those dealers who ordered through their area distributors...direct dealers had no distributor covering their area and they placed their orders direct with the factory.

Each one of these series had different numbering sequences and you need to be aware of that as some items have minor changes between them.  Distributor bulletins often include information regarding to the additional discount or flat fee they get from the factory for handling orders passed through by the dealers in their territory.

I have a list of what I have but scanning and sending might be a problem; some of these items run 6 pages with attachments!

Well, maybe it's something to do with my computer, but none of the links work for me.
